Our Story
For decades, Kansas City women have trusted Dr. Troy Voeltz and Dr. Allison Zupon for the most advanced imaging technology and patient-focused care at Imaging for Women.
In 2025, they established Aesthetics for Women to bring the same standard of clinical excellence to aesthetic medicine.
This practice was built to eliminate the confusing guesswork, hidden fees, and high-pressure sales tactics often found in the aesthetics industry. Whether you are a long-time patient or completely new to our care, our goal is to give you the honest education and medical expertise you need to make confident choices for your face and body.

That's why all of our treatments are FDA-cleared, backed by science, and the best of their kind. We are built on personalized care and transparency, ensuring that every patient's aesthetics journey truly belongs to them.
The Team
MEET
Dr. Troy Voeltz
Dr. Voeltz grew up in Rochester, MN and attended undergraduate college at the University of Minnesota, earning degrees in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Chemistry, and then went on to attend medical school at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 2008. He completed his radiology residency in Chicago, IL at St. Francis Hospital, where he served as chief resident. After residency, he returned to the University of Minnesota, where he completed a fellowship in breast imaging.
In 2025, he completed training in Medical Aesthetics and opened Aesthetics for Women with his business partner, Dr. Allison Zupon, to augment services he already provides to his patients at Imaging for Women. He is passionate about the care he provides to all his patients and looks forward to meeting and caring for you.
Dr. Voeltz is married to his beautiful and caring wife Corinne. They have a beautiful daughter, named Elizabeth Ruby (we call her Izzy for short). When they have some free time, which isn’t often now, they enjoy traveling to spend time with close friends and family.

MEET
Dr. Allison Zupon
Dr. Zupon grew up in the small town of Auxvasse, MO, east of Columbia. She studied Biochemistry at the University of Missouri, and graduated with minors in both Chemistry and Public Service. She spent a year serving the youth of Billings, Montana as an AmeriCorps Vista Volunteer before returning to the University of Missouri School of Medicine. After graduating with her M.D., she completed a radiology residency at the University of Kansas, where she became skilled at reading CTs, ultrasound, MR, and X-rays as well as performing a variety of image-guided procedures.
In 2025, she completed training in Medical Aesthetics and opened Aesthetics for Women with her business partner, Dr. Troy Voeltz, to augment services she already provides to her patients at Imaging for Women. She is excited to bring Imaging for Women's standard of high-quality care to the world of medical aesthetics.
When not working, Dr. Zupon loves spending time with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding and reading.

Tessa Menard
Tessa embarked on her aesthetic career in August 2023, but she’s no newcomer to the medical field, boasting over two decades of experience. She holds not one, but two Bachelor of Science degrees—one from Rockhurst University/Research College of Nursing and another in Health Information Management from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Since 2014, Tessa has been a licensed nurse in Missouri. She’s enthusiastic about diving deeper into the aesthetic industry, eager to learn and grow.
Outside of her professional life, Tessa is a proud wife and mother of two energetic young daughters. When she’s not cheering on her favorite sports teams—the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas City Chiefs—she cherishes family moments. At her core, Tessa is a RN who believes in and strives for a balanced life, seamlessly blending her career ambitions with her dedication to her family.

Averie Thrasher
Averie Thrasher grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri. In 2025, she graduated from Paul Mitchell The School as a licensed esthetician. She enjoys spending time with family and going on trips with friends. In her spare time, she enjoys crafts such as bedazzling.
In June 2026, she joined the Aesthetics for Women team, bringing services such as brow laminations and tints, lash lifts and tints, and facial waxing. She is excited to help patients feel beautiful and comfortable in their skin!
